Our Acerola Green Tea is perfectly blended with sencha green tea, pineapple bits, and calendula. Acerola, also known as Barbados Cherry (Malpighia emarginata), is a ‘superfruit’ high in antioxidants, and therefore extremely good for you.
Acerola Green Tea “Rainforest Understory” is part of our Rainforest Collection of Teas. We created this tea to celebrate the Ann Goldstein Children’s Rainforest Garden at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. A safe, natural place for young children and their families. You can make 20 to 25 cups of tea from 2 oz of loose leaf green tea. Besides, steeping all our teas multiple times for even more cups of great tea.
Brewing Instructions for Acerola Green Tea
Green tea is semi-oxidized leaves from the camellia sinensis plant. Flavors and aromas vary greatly. Factors include the season of harvest, country of origin, and method used to process; therefore, water should be 176-194 degrees and steeped between 2-3 minutes.
Store in a dry place.
