Edison & Ford Fruit Tea is a blend of pineapple, mango, calendula and citrus for an inventive, naturally caffeine-free drink of geniuses.
The Edison and Ford families raised many tropical and exotic plants including a variety of citrus and fruit trees. A ‘fruit tea’ was often served to family and guests.
Edison & Ford Winter Estates is a 25-acre National Historic Register site which includes the historic homes, museum, laboratory and research gardens of two of the nation’s most influential scientists and entrepreneurs, Thomas Edison and Henry Ford.
The Estates is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm throughout the year and until 9pm in December.
20 to 25 cups of tea can be made from 2 oz of loose leaf Edison & Ford Fruit Tea. We also suggest steeping all our teas multiple times for even more cups of great tea.
Prepared like tea, these gems contain no tea leaves. All blends are caffeine-free, except for the Mate. Use boiling water, (Mate should use water at 176) infusions can be steeped up to 10 minutes depending on personal preferences. All teas are sold in 2oz packets from which 20-25 cups of tea can be brewed, unless otherwise noted.
Store in a dry place.
