Sample our Selby Teas? This is an idea one of our customers suggested. “Why not offer a small portion of a variety of your teas so people could try them at a reasonable price” Great idea! So we created ‘Samplers’ for all of the teas we created for Selby Gardens. Thanks again for the great idea, and enjoy!
Our favorite teas celebrating our favorite botanical garden! Sample our Selby Teas. You can select either 3/4 oz of loose-leaf, enough to make 6 to 8 cups of each, or 4 of our SOILON ‘silk’ sachets of each tea.
The teas are the following…
Our best-selling rooibos combining juicy oranges and vanilla for a creamy creamsicle flavor. Because you can’t steep an orchid, this is the first tea we created to celebrate Sarasota’s local treasure back in 2008. Read more in our History.
Created to celebrate the many special places at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, a sencha green tea with blue cornflower blossoms, pomegranate arils, and ‘super fruit’ goji berries for a subtle, tart sweetness. Served most days at the Selby House Cafe as an iced or hot tea.
Created to celebrate the Ann Goldstein Children’s Rainforest Garden at Selby Gardens, a safe, natural place for young children and their families to develop a life-long appreciation for the living world through outdoor play, discovery, and learning. A tropical combination of mango, pineapple, tangerine, and calendula.
Our latest creation is celebrating the “Gauguin: Voyage to Paradise” exhibit at Selby Gardens. This black tea from Sri Lanka is a perfect blend of mango, calendula, and bits of lime. Mango has long been associated with peace, harmony, and tranquility. The same three words also come to mind when you think of Selby Gardens. Our slice of paradise here in Sarasota!
Store in a dry place.
