Hibiscus Tea
Our Hibiscus Tea is sourced from the Nile River Valley. This scarlet red infusion is the hibiscus plant's sepals and is a cooling and refreshing drink with a long history.
Similarly, our hibiscus tea is related to the ornamental variety we know so well, hibiscus sabdariffa is native to Africa and symbolizes grace and beauty.
The plant is field-grown and sun-dried. The tea is rich in Vitamin A and C, and contains Anthocyanin and beta-carotene antioxidants.
Excellent for replacing electrolytes and quenching thirst after vigorous exercise.
Consider adding our Ginger Root Tea for a spicy tart cuppa!
If you are drinking red tea, the chances are very high. Hibiscus is one of the ingredients. Hibiscus is a key ingredient in many of our herbal teas.
Some of the Local Tea Company products with Hibiscus include Mote Beach Tea, Peach Paradise, Organic Red Berries, and Siesta Tea, which is just the beginning of the list. Enjoy.
Hibiscus Tea brewed with ginger, clove, cinnamon, or nutmeg makes a terrific holiday drink. We advise you not to use milk.
